Bitpim.org released another update to their popular phone sync software. It can be downloaded here. I, myself, have not been able to test this software yet, but I will soon, hopefully it will include updates to make the EnV2 fully work with everything.

Bitpim has released yet another update to their software which you can download here. The software enables one of the most anticipated uses by EnV2 owners, calendar sync. Only there is one problem. The software has to be supplied with a vcard, ics, or cvs file in order to be imported. No direct sync with iCal on the Mac yet. But, another problem is that when I sync from my phone to Bitpim, it works. From Bitpim to my phone, it leaves my phone’s calendar blank. Has anyone been able to setup this configuration? I had high hopes for great support from Bitpim, but all it has enabled is one way sync.

iTunes 7.7 was released today with the anticipation of the iPhone 3g only growing. The App Store, although not shown, is avaliable, but you cannot add them to your iPod Touch or iPhone. You can browse, and download any apps you want, you just have to do a little searching. In the iTunes Store, search for “remote.” The first thing that comes up is the app that Apple released to allow you to control your iTunes with your iPhone or iPod Touch. If you click on it, at the top at the page, next to the home button, you can click on App Store. From there, you can view all of the apps available as of now. You can even download them, but reports say you cannot place them on your iPhone of iPod Touch.

A rumor has been posted about the new and upcoming iTunes 7.7 which is scheduled to release along with the iPhone 3g. It is said to provide iPod Touch and iPhone users with an app for free that will allow it to act as a remote control for iTunes.
