Env2 and Bitpim 1.0.6.20080707 Calendar Management Update

16 07 2008

Bitpim has released yet another update to their software which you can download here. The software enables one of the most anticipated uses by EnV2 owners, calendar sync. Only there is one problem. The software has to be supplied with a vcard, ics, or cvs file in order to be imported. No direct sync with iCal on the Mac yet. But, another problem is that when I sync from my phone to Bitpim, it works. From Bitpim to my phone, it leaves my phone’s calendar blank. Has anyone been able to setup this configuration? I had high hopes for great support from Bitpim, but all it has enabled is one way sync.

Yeah go to Verizonwireless.com sign in with your account then, click messaging and the pulldown menu comes up click text messaging, then on the left side of screen click preferences and another pull down menu appears, and the first option is calander. Then follow the directions on the webpage. Good Luck! There is also an option were you can block txt messages from different options ie web messages, specific numbers, messages sent via email.
